Torres, 45, who will be looking to make her sixth Olympic Games appearance by qualifying at U.S. Olympic Trials later this summer, checked in with a 25.43 to win the women's 50 free. She led qualifying with a 25.78 during prelims. Arlene Semeco touched second in 25.83, while Jessie Alcaide placed third in 26.36. <\/p>\n
Breeja Larson crushed the field in the women's 50 breast with a 32.57 after clocking a 32.63 to lead prelims. Rice's Rachel Moody touched second in 34.89, while Destiny Nelson, 14, wound up third in 35.20. Cammile Adams followed her 400 IM victory from last night with a 2:12.94 to win the women's 200 fly. Kaitlin Pawlowicz touched second in 2:16.35, while Audrey Lawson of LSU finished third in 2:17.09. Spindrift Beck smashed the field in the women's 200 IM with a 2:18.44. Simone Manuel earned second in 2:24.14, while Alyssa Conner placed third in 2:24.29. <\/p>\n
Joseph Daniels won the men's 50 breast with a 30.77 as only four swimmers competed in the finale. Josh Lamb (31.32), Jonathan Tybur (31.73) and Chase Thompson (32.69) also swam. Andrew Skowrone cruised in the men's 200 fly with a 2:04.35. Maxwell Lewis (2:08.35) and Connor Dobbs (2:11.15) placed second and third. <\/p>\n
Anna Mayfield posted a 1:04.14 to win the women's 100 back. Ellen Lobb (1:04.39) and Sammie Hashbarg (1:04.62) completed the top three. Aaron Greene claimed the men's 100 back title in 57.92. Brandon Goldman finished second in 59.88, while Brett Pinfold earned third in 1:00.03. Ian LaMaistre qualified second in 59.09, but scratched finals. <\/p>\n
Brett Ringgold took home the men's 200 IM crown in 2:10.56, while Ryan Massey (2:11.82) and Brandon Goldman (2:12.04) finished second and third. LaMaistre topped qualifying in 2:12.73 before scratching the finale. Devin Ross won the men's 50 free in 23.66, while Jason Bergstrom (23.70) and Michael Saco (23.84) rounded out the top three. Cory Bolleter led qualifying with a 23.85, but scratched swimming finals.<\/p>\n
Maureen McLaine raced to victory in the women's 800 free with an 8:54.67, while Ashley Adams picked up second in 8:57.08. Colleen Konetzke wound up third in 9:06.86.
