Which of the following four coaching announcements surprised you the most? Was it Roric Fink&#039;s hiring as assistant women&#039;s coach at Texas? Was it Skip Kenney&#039;s retirement at Stanford? Was it Dennis Pursley&#039;s appointment as head coach at Alabama or Jim Richardson&#039;s retirement at Michigan? Go to <a href=http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/poll>swimmingworldmagazine.com\/poll<\/a> right now to submit your vote, and we&#039;ll let you know the results in next Friday&#039;s show.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, with the USA Swimming Grand Prix making a stop in Charlotte, we thought it would be a good time to ask you what you thought of the prize money given out in the Grand Prix. Currently, only a $20,000 cash prize is given to the overall points winner of the series, and based on our last poll, a majority of readers would like that to change. A little more than 59 percent said per-race cash prizes should also be offered at the meets, while 22.22 percent wanted to do away with the overall grand prize and just give out per-race cash awards.
