This will serve as the selection meet for the Pan Pacs team as well as the Asian Games, Jr. Pan Pacs and the Youth Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>Day five was highlighted by\u00a0<strong>Yasuhiro Koseki\u00a0<\/strong>winning the 200 breast in addition to his his 50 and 100 breast titles from earlier this meet.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 200 Fly<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Sachi Mochida\u00a0<\/strong>won a close women&#8217;s 200 fly race, stopping the clock in\u00a02:08.61 for the win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suzuka Hasegawa\u00a0<\/strong>finished a close second in 2:08.92 while\u00a0<strong>Hiroko Makino\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 2:09.02.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nao Kobayashi\u00a0<\/strong>(2:10.32),\u00a0<strong>Karin Takemura\u00a0<\/strong>(2:10.43),\u00a0<strong>Yuyu Kikychi\u00a0<\/strong>(2:11.24),\u00a0<strong>Rika Nara\u00a0<\/strong>(2:11.73) and\u00a0<strong>Kie Kaneko\u00a0<\/strong>(2:119.94) rounded out the top eight.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 200 Back<\/h2>\n<p>To match his 100 back win earlier in the meet,\u00a0<strong>Irie Ryosuke\u00a0<\/strong>swam to first in the men&#8217;s 200 back to complete the sweep. He finished with a final time of 1:55.92.<\/p>\n<p>Second went to\u00a0<strong>Keita Sunama\u00a0<\/strong>(1:56.72) and third went to <strong>Keita Sunama<\/strong>\u00a0(1:58.50).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hayate Matsubara\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.63),\u00a0<strong>Tadanobu Tokiwa\u00a0<\/strong>(2:01.46),\u00a0<strong>Syunya Nishimura\u00a0<\/strong>(2:01.68),\u00a0<strong>Ryota Naitou\u00a0<\/strong>(2:02.14) and\u00a0<strong>Takahiro Yamazaki\u00a0<\/strong>(2:02.32) completed the final heat.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Yasuhiro Koseki\u00a0<\/strong>got to the wall first in the men&#8217;s 200 breast, doing so in 2:08.45.\u00a0Koseki also broke the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/koseki-downs-50-breast-national-record-on-third-night-of-2018-japanese-nationals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National record in 50 breast<\/a> earlier this meet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ippei Watanabe\u00a0<\/strong>(2:08.96) and\u00a0<strong>Kazuki Kohinata<\/strong>\u00a0(2:09.29)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>finished second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>Hayato Watanabe\u00a0<\/strong>(2:09.57),\u00a0<strong>Yukihiro Takahashi\u00a0<\/strong>(2:09.78),\u00a0<strong>Kasuki Hayashi\u00a0<\/strong>(2:10.16),\u00a0<strong>Kazuki Watanabe\u00a0<\/strong>(2:10.81) and\u00a0<strong>Yuu Hanaguruma\u00a0<\/strong>(2:12.04) also competed in the top heat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some of the biggest names in Japanese swimming are competing this week in the 2018 Japanese National Championships in Tokyo.
