Last night&#8217;s 4&#215;100 freestyle relay champions repeated in the night&#8217;s last event, the 4&#215;50 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Backstroke<\/h3>\n<p>Bath Area&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Olivia Harper\u00a0<\/strong>was third at the halfway point and surged to victory, touching in 53.71 in the night&#8217;s first event. The 16 year old who was runner up in last night&#8217;s 200 back\u00a0was followed by Blue Ash&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Shuppert\u00a0<\/strong>in 53.85. The 16 year old flipped at the halfway point in 22.37, six tenths under the National record pace of 23.00. Burns powered home in 23.87 to touch in a 46.24, eight tenths faster than\u00a0<strong>Austin Katz<\/strong>&#8216; National Record of 47.06.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing second was\u00a0<strong>Justin Fleagle\u00a0<\/strong>of Auglaize Mercer\u00a0with a 48.80. Springfield&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kaitlyn Wheeler\u00a0<\/strong>led at the 100 mark. Braswell, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/florida-gators-get-verbal-commitment-from-y-national-champ-leah-braswell\/\">who will head to the University of Florida<\/a> in the fall, was strong through backstroke to pull ahead of the field, and held onto that spot through the end of the race, touching in 4:08.98.<\/p>\n<p>Sarasota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Weyant\u00a0<\/strong>had the quickest breaststroke leg in the final heat to touch second with a 4:11.65. The field closed in on the third 50, and knocked his lead down to a mere tenth. Over the final 50 yards Schutte fought to hung on, touching second in 1:38.76. Fanwood Scotch&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Josh Cohen\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 25.30 over the final 50 yards to finish first in 1:38.10.
