He had admired <strong>Sun Yang\u2019s<\/strong> prowess in the distance races, and as a 13-year-old, he watched in awe as <strong>Paul Biedermann<\/strong> came out of nowhere to win two gold medals, both in world record time, at the 2009 World Championships.<\/p>\n<p>In Kazan, in the 200 free final, Lochte finished fourth in 1:45.83. Biedermann took third in 1:45.38, and Sun touched in 1:45.20.
