He&#8217;s a full five seconds ahead of the field in the 200 butterfly and leads the way by three in the 200 backstroke.<\/p>\n<p>Hickory&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ross Dant\u00a0<\/strong>is second seed in the 200 backstroke. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/hs-junior-national-jr-teamer-ross-dant-stays-in-state-with-verbal-to-wolfpack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NC State commit<\/a> has dominant top seeds in the 500, 1,000, and 1650 freestyle events.<\/p>\n<p>National record holder\u00a0<strong>Max McHugh\u00a0<\/strong>of Door County is top seed in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, both by significant margins. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ymca-national-champion-max-mchugh-verbally-commits-to-minnesota\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Minnesota commit<\/a> will also swim the 50 freestyle, where he is seeded third.<\/p>\n<p>Somerset Hills has the fastest entry time in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays for the men.<\/p>\n<p>The women seem to have a lot more athletes all in contention for the top spot in most events.\u00a0<strong>Lizzy Colwell\u00a0<\/strong>of New Canaan is top seed in the 100 breaststroke, but second to Boise&#8217;s <strong>Sammie Eyolfson<\/strong>\u00a0in the 200 breaststroke.<\/p>\n<p>Bradford&#8217;s 16 year old\u00a0<strong>Paige Hetrick\u00a0<\/strong>is seeded near the top of her entries, with the fastest 200 backstroke, second 100 back and 100 and 200 freestyles and 100 butterfly seeds. She&#8217;ll have to get past Westport\/Weston&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sarah Grinalds<\/strong>, who holds the fastest entry time in the 50, 100, and 200 freestyles. Grinalds is also third in the 500 and fourth in the 1000, showing impressive range.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Ash&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Megan Glass\u00a0<\/strong>is top seed in the 100 butterfly by over a second. She&#8217;s also second in the 200 butterfly, just trailing Sarasota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Isabel Traba<\/strong>.
