They finished with 2731 points, ahead of runner-up host team Phoenix Swim Club with 1828 points. Third place went to Mesa Aquatics Club with a total of 1731.5 points.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 IM<\/h3>\n<p>Olympian <strong>Breeja Larson<\/strong> and <strong>Katie McBratney<\/strong> of Pitchfork Aquatic Club continued to battle each other, this time in the women&#8217;s 200-yard IM. The 17-year-old has finished runner-up to Larson a few times during the course of this meet, and delivered again this evening by touching in 2:01.43 to Larson&#8217;s winning time of 1:58.22. <strong>Sydney Carlson<\/strong> of Phoenix Swim Club earned bronze in 2:03.69.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth place went to 13-year-old<strong> Mary Codevilla<\/strong> of Flatiron Athletic Club with her time of 2:03.85, while Pitchfork&#8217;s <strong>Destiny Kling<\/strong> earned fifth-place honors in 2:04.12.<\/p>\n<p>13-year-old <strong>Chase Davison<\/strong> of Flatiron finished in 2:04.51 for sixth place, ahead of<strong> Kaitlyn McCoy<\/strong> of host team Phoenix Swim Club, who touched in 2:05.41 for seventh. <strong>Isabella Fratesi<\/strong> finished eighth with her time of 2:05.49.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 200 IM<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Jadan Nabor<\/strong> of YMCA Westside Silverfins earned his second individual title of the weekend in the men&#8217;s 200-yard IM, dropping almost three seconds to overtake Pitchfork&#8217;s <strong>Jarod Arroyo<\/strong> for first place in 1:50.03. Arroyo touched second in 1:50.09. Third place went to <strong>Thomaz Martins<\/strong> of Pitchfork in 1:50.23.<\/p>\n<p>ASU alum <strong>Juan Jose Garcia Mesa<\/strong> put up a time of 1:51.26 for fourth place, followed by Rio Salado Swim Club&#8217;s <strong>Benjamin Quon<\/strong> in 1:53.57 for fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Scottsdale Aquatic Club&#8217;s <strong>Michael Klauss<\/strong> earned sixth-place honors in 1:54.11, while his teammate <strong>Stefan Cooley<\/strong> touched seventh in 1:54.35.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jordan Tiffany<\/strong> of Hilltop Aquatic Swim Team rounded out the championship final in eighth with a 1:54.89.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 1650 Freestyle<\/h3>\n<p>14-year-old <strong>Mia Rankin<\/strong> of Phoenix Swim Club won the women&#8217;s 1650-yard freestyle in a quick 16:30.28, a 13-second drop from her best time from December of this past year.<strong> Haley Benjamin<\/strong> of Durango Swim Club was just behind in 16:33.84 for the runner-up spot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lucille Matheson<\/strong> of Flatiron Athletic Club also finished under 17 minutes with a time of 16:59.69 for third-place honors. Fourth place went to <strong>Audrey McDonald<\/strong> of Park City Swimming in 17:03.16, followed by <strong>Jessica Lesueur<\/strong> of Mesa Aquatics Club in 17:11.28 for fifth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amanda Zajdzinski<\/strong> of Mesa (17:18.87), <strong>Grace Dunn<\/strong> of Scottsdale Aquatic Club (17:22.04), and <strong>Karla Lessing<\/strong> of Flatiron Athletic Club (17:22.56) also placed in the top eight of swimmers.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 1650 Freestyle<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Scott Pekarske<\/strong> of Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics also dropped a chunk of time to win the event, finishing in 15:26.87 for the title. Arroyo completed a difficult double successfully, earning the runner-up spot in a time of 15:45.19. Third place went to 30-year-old<strong> Yoelvis Pedraza<\/strong> of RallySport Aquatic Club in 15:48.29.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Riley Babson<\/strong> of Tucson Ford Dealers put up a 15:53.76 for fourth place, followed by Pitchfork&#8217;s <strong>Alexis Soto<\/strong> in 15:55.14 for fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Mesa Aquatics Club&#8217;s <strong>Kyle Benjamin<\/strong> was the last competitor under 16 minutes, finishing in 15:56.25 for sixth. Seventh place went to Cache Valley Marlins&#8217; <strong>Darwin Anderson<\/strong> in 16:01.81, and eighth to <strong>Aidan Reagan<\/strong> of Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics in 16:04.44.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 50 Freestyle<\/h3>\n<p>Larson earned another win this evening, this time in the women&#8217;s 50-yard freestyle, with a 22.53. <strong>Claire Grover<\/strong> of Scottsdale Aquatic Club was also under 23 seconds, sprinting to a second-place time of 22.81. Grover had qualified first over Larson in 22.77 to Larson&#8217;s 22.79. Third place went to her teammate <strong>Greer Pattison<\/strong> in 23.49.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sofia Zinis<\/strong> of Swim Dogs earned fourth place with her mark of 23.76. Fifth place went to <strong>Kathryn Hale<\/strong> of Park City Swimming in 23.80.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Olivia McPherson<\/strong> of Laramie Swim Club and <strong>Hannah Houlton<\/strong> of Tucson Ford Dealers tied for sixth place with a time of 23.85.<strong> Pilar Cohen<\/strong> of Boulder City Henderson Swim Team was just behind in eighth place in the heat with a 23.88.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 50 Freestyle<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Giles Smith<\/strong>, who won the 100-yard butterfly last night, took another title in the men&#8217;s 50-yard freestyle, this time touching in 20.26 for the win. <strong>Lucas Farrar<\/strong> of Lake Country Swim Team earned runner-up honors with his mark of 20.57, followed by Martins in 20.71 for third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jared Shaw<\/strong> of Sahuarita Stingrays sprinted to a 20.78 to finish fourth in the heat, followed by <strong>Clay Stoddard<\/strong> in 20.91. Lake Country Swim Team&#8217;s <strong>Jeffrey Wiedoff<\/strong> was just off the 21-second barrier in 21.02, followed by <strong>Tai Combs<\/strong> in seventh with a 21.25. Eighth place went to <strong>Parker Hughes<\/strong> of Scottsdale Aquatic Club in 21.51.<\/p>\n<p>Scottsdale&#8217;s <strong>Terry Yang<\/strong> would have placed sixth in the championship heat with his time of 20.97 from the B-final.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 400 Medley Relay<\/h3>\n<p>Scottsdale Aquatic Club proved their dominance in the women&#8217;s 400-yard medley relay, taking 1-2 with their A and B relay teams. The A team finished first in 3:44.99, followed by their B team in 3:46.89. Individual time splits were not available in results. Third place went to Flatiron Athletic Club in 3:48.46, followed by RallySport Aquatic Club in 3:50.49 for fourth.<\/p>\n<p>Pitchfork Aquatics earned fifth place in 3:51.94, followed by host team Phoenix Swim Club in 3:52.56. Mesa Aquatics Club was just behind in 3:52.59 for seventh. Pitchfork Aquatics B team placed eighth with their time of 3:55.43.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 400 Medley Relay<\/h3>\n<p>The Scottsdale men also won the men&#8217;s 400-yard medley relay, combining for a time of 3:21.54. Second place went to Pitchfork Aquatics in 3:24.61, followed by Lake Country Swim Team in 3:25.31.<\/p>\n<p>Hilltop Aquatic Swim Team earned fourth-place honors with their mark of 3:28.21, followed by RallySport Aquatic Club in 3:29.47 for fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Phoenix Swim Club&#8217;s C-team placed sixth in 3:30.12, ahead of Mesa Aquatics Club&#8217;s seventh-place time of 3:30.94.
