Chelsea Piers won the 2018 Speedo Sectionals Championship Series in Ithaca, NY, with a total of 1205 points. Second went to Crimson Aquatics with 638 points, followed by Nys Aquatics (556.5), Schenectady-Saratoga (447) and Seacoast (381).<\/p>\n

Commonwealth\u2019s Natalie Mannion <\/strong>began the night with a win in the women\u2019s 200 back, stopping the clock in 1:57.93. Victor\u2019s Megan Deuel <\/strong>also got under the two-minute barrier in 1:58.81 for second followed by third-place finisher Laura Rosado <\/strong>(2:00.33) of SoCo.<\/p>\n North Shore\u2019s Jared Daigle <\/strong>won the men\u2019s 200 back by nearly a second in 1:47.73. Tidal Wave\u2019s Anthony Rincon <\/strong>(1:48.81) and Upper Valley\u2019s Jack Wadsworth <\/strong>(1:49.21) also snuck under the 1:50 mark.<\/p>\n Condors\u2019 Christiana Regenauer <\/strong>sprinted her way to a narrow win in the women\u2019s 100 free, getting her hand to the wall in 49.35. Chelsea Piers\u2019 Bridget Semenuk <\/strong>was second in 49.39 and her teammate Katherine Douglass <\/strong>finished third in 49.45.<\/p>\n Tidal Wave\u2019s Kai Legband <\/strong>got the gold medal in the men\u2019s 100 free with a time of 45.24. Laguardia\u2019s Andy Lee <\/strong>grabbed the silver in 45.55 and Seacoast\u2019s Brendan Sullivan <\/strong>earned the bronze in 46.33.<\/p>\n Not too long after her second-place finish in the women\u2019s 100 free, Semenuk won the women\u2019s 200 IM in 2:01.35. Her teammate Douglass touched the wall second in 2:01.88 and Blue Devils\u2019 Miku Takabayashi <\/strong>finished third in 2:02.90.<\/p>\n Crimson\u2019s Mitchell Gariepy <\/strong>touched the wall first in 1:51.67, followed by Daigle (1:51.95) and Northern Dutchess\u2019s Thomas Graminski <\/strong>(1:52.30) to conclude the individual events.<\/p>\n Chelsea Piers\u2019 Sophia Moore <\/strong>(55.71), Mary Christensen <\/strong>(1:01.91), Douglass (54.76) and Semenuk (50.87) won the 4×100 medley relay in a time of 3:43.25. Nys Aquatics finished second in 3:47.81 and Schenectady-Saratoga was third in 3:49.13.<\/p>\n Chelsea Piers\u2019 Cole Pierce <\/strong>(51.95), Connor Morikawa <\/strong>(56.59), Benjamin Feldman <\/strong>(50.00) and Tyler Sicignano <\/strong>(46.32) won the 4×100 medley relay in 3:24.86.
