Solo\u2019s <strong>Abigail Sullivan <\/strong>placed second in 2:20.33 and Bluefish\u2019s <strong>Summer Smith <\/strong>finished third in 2:20.50.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Richard Mihm <\/strong>of Allegheny North won the men\u2019s 200 fly, stopping the clock in 2:04.02. Solo\u2019s <strong>Matthew Yish <\/strong>was second in 2:04.47 and Ridgefield\u2019s <strong>Yeziel Morales <\/strong>was third in 2:05.16.<\/p>\n<p>North Baltimore\u2019s <strong>Megan Drumm <\/strong>sprinted her way to first place in the women\u2019s 50 free, doing so in 26.85. Berkeley\u2019s <strong>Sophia Kudryashova <\/strong>took second in 27.02 and The Fish\u2019s <strong>Grace Cutrell <\/strong>placed third in 27.12.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drew Modrov <\/strong>splashed and dashed his way to a win in the men\u2019s 50 free in 23.23. Second went to Allegheny North\u00a0<strong>Mason Gonzalez <\/strong>(23.44) and third went to his teammate <strong>Jack Wright <\/strong>(23.85).<\/p>\n<p>Sargent also won the women\u2019s 200 breast in 2:35.30. North Baltimore\u2019s <strong>Lauren Poole <\/strong>placed second in 2:37.39 and NRG Swimming\u2019s <strong>Allison Henry <\/strong>finished third in 2:37.39.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin\u2019s <strong>David Abrahams <\/strong>cruised to first in the men\u2019s 200 breast, touching the wall in 2:22.17. Velocity\u2019s <strong>Luke Otto <\/strong>placed second in 2:23.23 and third went to Solo\u2019s <strong>Aaron Zhu <\/strong>in 2:24.05.<\/p>\n<p>Poole cruised to first in the women\u2019s 100 back in 1:03.66. Islanders\u2019 <strong>Mackenzie Thomas <\/strong>grabbed second in 1:05.17 and Allegheny North <strong>Victoria Buerger<\/strong> was third in 1:05.79.<\/p>\n<p>Scarlet\u2019s <strong>David Cespedes <\/strong>earned the gold in the men\u2019s 100 back, posting a final time of 57.98. <strong>Alexandros Theocharidis <\/strong>grabbed the silver in 58.01 and bronze went to Bluefish\u2019s <strong>Harrison Homans <\/strong>in 58.02.<\/p>\n<p>The Fish\u2019s <strong>Madelyn Donohoe <\/strong>dominated the women\u2019s 400 free, getting her hand to the wall in 4:20.35 for the win. Scarlet\u2019s <strong>Junseo Kim <\/strong>finished second in 4:25.63 and Nys\u2019 <strong>Jessica Pryne <\/strong>took third in 4:28.46.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oludare Rose <\/strong>of Scarlet won the men\u2019s 400 in a time of 3:59.46, followed by Bluefish\u2019s <strong>Will Barao <\/strong>in 4:03.45 and Gonzalez in 4:04.01.<\/p>\n<p>Prelims for the final day of competition will begin tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. EST.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islanders\u2019 Makayla Sargent won two events on night three of the 2018 Speedo Sectionals Championship Series in Buffalo, NY.
