Events included the 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 backstroke, 200 butterfly, and 1000 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the evening, DU Hilltoppers were sitting in first place of team rankings with 179 points. However, it&#8217;s anyone&#8217;s meet, as Jeffco Hurricanes, Highlands Ranch, and Kingfish Swimming all sit within 50 points of DU Hilltoppers. Tonight&#8217;s events will include the 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 400 IM, and 800 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Freestyle<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Anna Shaw<\/strong> of DU Hilltoppers touched first in a close race that was the women&#8217;s 100-yard freestyle final heat. Her time of 50.01 was 0.06 ahead of<strong> Delaney Smith<\/strong> of Highlands Ranch&#8217;s second-place time of 50.07. The USC commit touched in 43.41 to win the event over <strong>Kyle Leach<\/strong> of Colorado Springs, who finished in 44.26. Third place went to <strong>Harrison Lierz<\/strong> of Front Range Barracudas in 45.10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seth Hendrix<\/strong> of DU Hilltoppers put up a fourth-place time of 45.29, while<strong> Andrew Trepanie<\/strong> of South Metro Storm&#8217;s time of 45.36 was good for fifth.<\/p>\n<p>DU Hilltoppers&#8217; Goodwin was the only competitor under 2:00.00, touching in 1:59.85 to hold off second-place <strong>Jack Moranetz<\/strong> of Foothills. Moranetz touched in 2:00.45 for the runner-up spot. His time of 1:43.40, over a half second faster than his prelims time, was good for first place. Second place went to Lierz in 1:43.94. <strong>Andrew Rodriguez<\/strong> of Terrapins Swim Team touched five seconds later in 1:48.76 for third place, just ahead of N<strong>icholas Fox<\/strong> of Jeffco Hurricanes in 1:48.87.<\/p>\n<p>Fifth place went to <strong>Gennady Sytnik<\/strong> of Terrapins in 1:49.62. <strong>Connor Miller<\/strong> of Kingfish Swimming stoped the clock in 1:50.22 for sixth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trevor Van Law<\/strong> of Highlands Ranch (1:51.40) and <strong>John Paul Phillips<\/strong> of Jeffco Hurricanes (1:51.68) also competed in the championship final of the runner-up in 2:00.34, and<strong> Katherine Connors<\/strong> of Kingfish Swimming touched third in 2:02.40.<\/p>\n<p>Wright&#8217;s time of 2:03.66 was good for fourth, followed by <strong>Grace Ali<\/strong> of Kingfish in 2:03.97 in fifth. <strong>Payten Irwin<\/strong> of Front Range Barracudas stopped the clock in 2:05.26 for sixth.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffco&#8217;s <strong>Sydney Metzler<\/strong> Second place went to Utah Valley&#8217;s Anthony Puertas in 1:48.61, followed by <strong>Braden Whitmarsh<\/strong> of Colorado Springs in 1:52.06.
