The rest of the squad, <strong>Jan<\/strong> <strong>Switkowski<\/strong> (18.52), <strong>Enzo Martinez<\/strong> (19.00) and <strong>Mark Szaranek<\/strong> (19.06) added up to a pool record of 1:14.39.<\/p>\n<p>The NC State squad of <strong>Ryan Held<\/strong> (18.56), <strong>Justin Ress<\/strong> (18.31), <strong>Jacob Molacek<\/strong> (18.67)\u00a0 and <strong>Coleman Stewart<\/strong> (18.96) produced a 1:14.50 to break the old American record of 1:15.26. This puts Switkowski third on the all-time list with Vazaios now sitting behind the Gator in fourth all-time. Minnesota&#8217;s <strong>Bowen Becker<\/strong> snuck into third with an 18.90.<\/p>\n<p>Dressel&#8217;s margin of victory was wider than the any other individual event tonight, as he won by .99 of a second. This also solidifies Dressel as the only\u00a0man to win the 50 free all four years at NCAA\u2019s.
