Last night, she said she was sick of seeing a 2:03.<\/p>\n

Tonight, she didn’t see a 2:03. Indiana junior\u00a0Lilly King<\/strong> roared through the 200 breast final with a 2:02.60. She was the first to break 2:04, and now she is the first to break 2:03.<\/p>\n

Texas A&M senior and fellow Indiana native\u00a0Bethany Galat\u00a0<\/strong>almost joined her in the 2:02 club as she was second at 2:03.26. She also moves to second all-time in the event.<\/p>\n

Texas A&M’s four finalists fared well with Galat getting second,\u00a0Sydney Pickrem\u00a0<\/strong>(2:05.79) getting third,\u00a0Anna Belousova\u00a0<\/strong>(2:07.26) getting sixth and\u00a0Esther Gonzalez Medina\u00a0<\/strong>(2:08.20) getting eighth.<\/p>\n

Michigan’s\u00a0Miranda Tucker\u00a0<\/strong>(2:06.73), Kentucky’s\u00a0Bailey Bonnett\u00a0<\/strong>(2:07.22) and Minnesota’s\u00a0Lindsey Kozelsky\u00a0<\/strong>(2:07.69) also swam in the championship final.<\/p>\n

King has now won three NCAA titles in the 200 breast as she joins\u00a0Kristine Quance\u00a0<\/strong>(1994, 1996, 1997) of USC,\u00a0Kristy Kowal\u00a0<\/strong>(1998-2000) of Georgia,\u00a0Tara Kirk\u00a0<\/strong>(2002-2004) of Stanford, and\u00a0Rebecca Soni\u00a0<\/strong>(2006-2009) of USC as winners of three.<\/p>\n
