Eastin led from the start and swam a monster 3:54.60 in the 400 IM final to break\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>NCAA and American Record of 3:56.53.<\/p>\n<p>Eastin was one of three Stanford swimmers in the final as she went 1-2-4 with Ledecky (3:58.29) and\u00a0<strong>Brooke Forde\u00a0<\/strong>(3:59.34).<\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sydney Pickrem\u00a0<\/strong>broke up the Stanford party and finished third with a 3:59.05 in the final.<\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bethany Galat\u00a0<\/strong>(4:02.19), Missouri&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sharli Brady\u00a0<\/strong>(4:04.12), Ohio State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Meg Bailey\u00a0<\/strong>(4:04.26) and Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sarah Darcel\u00a0<\/strong>(4:04.44) also swam in the championship final.<\/p>\n<p>This is Eastin&#8217;s third straight NCAA title in the 400 IM and Stanford&#8217;s eleventh overall.
