Both girls are within reach of the 51.30 NAG record by\u00a0<strong>Regan Smith\u00a0<\/strong>set in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at NCAA&#8217;s, Bacon would have been 23rd in the 100 back in Columbus this morning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grace Countie\u00a0<\/strong>(53.09),\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Brooks\u00a0<\/strong>(53.30),\u00a0<strong>Ellie Waldrep\u00a0<\/strong>(54.01),\u00a0<strong>Kaylyn Schoof\u00a0<\/strong>(54.04),\u00a0<strong>Talia Bates\u00a0<\/strong>(54.28) and\u00a0<strong>Kobie Melton\u00a0<\/strong>(54.49) will also swim in the A-final.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Back<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Spencer Walker\u00a0<\/strong>out of Illinois swam a 48.02 to lead the 100 back heats ahead of\u00a0<strong>Jack Dolan\u00a0<\/strong>out of Missouri and\u00a0<strong>Mitchell Whyte<\/strong>\u00a0(48.64)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>from Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peter Larson\u00a0<\/strong>(48.93),\u00a0<strong>Peter Simmons\u00a0<\/strong>(49.03),\u00a0<strong>Robert Kondalski\u00a0<\/strong>(49.10),\u00a0<strong>Jack Dahlgren\u00a0<\/strong>(49.23) and\u00a0<strong>Aidan Stoffle\u00a0<\/strong>(49.25) placed in the top eight.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 500 Free<\/h3>\n<p>Arizona&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ashley Strouse\u00a0<\/strong>had the fastest 500 of the morning with a 4:46.43 as the 15-year-old is ahead of 13-year-old\u00a0<strong>Claire Tuggle\u00a0<\/strong>(4:46.60) and 17-year-old\u00a0<strong>Madison Homovich\u00a0<\/strong>(4:48.18).<\/p>\n<p>Tuggle is only 13 but has her work cut out for her if she is going to catch the 13-14 NAG record of 4:35.14 by\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grace Sheble\u00a0<\/strong>(4:48.77),\u00a0<strong>Sophie Skinner\u00a0<\/strong>(4:49.19),\u00a0<strong>Addison Smith\u00a0<\/strong>(4:49.83),\u00a0<strong>Lola Mull\u00a0<\/strong>(4:50.18) and\u00a0<strong>Rachel Klinker\u00a0<\/strong>(4:50.34) will also swim in the final.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Free<\/h3>\n<p>The men went with the shorter distance with the 100 free being led by 18-year-old\u00a0<strong>William Davis\u00a0<\/strong>out of Georgia at 44.40. He is ahead of alter-ego\/twin brother\u00a0<strong>Willie Davis\u00a0<\/strong>at 44.49.<\/p>\n<p><strong>David Madej\u00a0<\/strong>(44.54),\u00a0<strong>Brandon Hamblin\u00a0<\/strong>(44.62),\u00a0<strong>Charles Scheinfeld\u00a0<\/strong>(44.98),\u00a0<strong>Jack Dolan\u00a0<\/strong>(45.11),\u00a0<strong>Peter Larson\u00a0<\/strong>(45.18) and\u00a0<strong>Julian Hill\u00a0<\/strong>(45.21) also placed in the top eight and have qualified for tonight.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/h3>\n<p>16-year-old\u00a0<strong>Abigail Arens\u00a0<\/strong>out of North Carolina\u00a0is the top seed in the 200 breast with a 2:12.03 this morning in Orlando on Friday morning.
