Eastin smashed her own NCAA and American Record with a 1:50.67. Eastin&#8217;s record was a 1:51.65 from the 2016 NCAA&#8217;s where she won as a freshman.<\/p>\n<p>Cal junior and defending champion\u00a0<strong>Kathleen Baker\u00a0<\/strong>was second in the race and also under Eastin&#8217;s record at 1:51.25. Those two are both juniors and will be back next season for one more duel. They have traded wins the last two years and have been 1-2 three years in a row now.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sydney Pickrem\u00a0<\/strong>(1:52.35),\u00a0<strong>Bethany Galat\u00a0<\/strong>(1:53.17),\u00a0<strong>Meghan Small\u00a0<\/strong>(1:53.18),\u00a0<strong>Beata Nelson\u00a0<\/strong>(1:53.54),\u00a0<strong>Asia Seidt\u00a0<\/strong>(1:53.78) and\u00a0<strong>Bailey Andison\u00a0<\/strong>(1:55.22) also competed in the championship final.<\/p>\n<p>The win is Stanford&#8217;s tenth in the event and most overall.
