The 13-year-old finished with a blistering 1:44.96, just off\u00a0<strong>Missy Franklin&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>13-14 National Age Group record of 1:44.55 set in 2010.\u00a0That time is also the 39th fastest time swum this year in <em>any<\/em> age group.<\/p>\n<p>Lexington&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rachel Klinker\u00a0<\/strong>took second in 1:46.56 and Nasa Wildcat&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Annika Wagner\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 1:47.01.<\/p>\n<p>Gator Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Talia Bates\u00a0<\/strong>(1:47.11), Grosse Pointe&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sophie Housey\u00a0<\/strong>(1:47.32), Greater Tampa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Morgan Tankersley\u00a0<\/strong>(1:47.58), Northern Kentucky Clippers&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Sophie Skinner<\/strong> (1:48.15) and Baylor&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Addison Smith\u00a0<\/strong>(1:48.75) rounded out the A-final.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Women\u2019s 200y Free A Final | 2018 NCSA Junior Championships\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8y8WAwOLYq4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 200 Free<\/h2>\n<p>Metro Aquatic Club of Miami&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Aitor Fungairino\u00a0<\/strong>won the first men&#8217;s event of the evening, taking home the 200 free title.\u00a0The Texas commit stopped the clock in 1:35.12.<\/p>\n<p>Rockwood&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jack Dolan\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.55) and Gator Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Julian Hill\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.78) each dropped nearly three seconds from their morning time to finish second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Edina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Peter Larson\u00a0<\/strong>(1:36.26), Aquajets&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Jack Dahlgren\u00a0<\/strong>(1:36.64), New Trier&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ryan Gridley\u00a0<\/strong>(1:37.25), Snow&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>John Moore\u00a0<\/strong>(1:37.40) and SwimStrongsville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>David Madej\u00a0<\/strong>(1:37.63) completed the top heat.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Men\u2019s 200y Free A Final | 2018 NCSA Junior Championships\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gGYhRdcloUU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 50 Breast<\/h2>\n<p>Scottsdale&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Claire<\/strong> <strong>Grover<\/strong>, who is committed to swim at UCLA,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>got her hands to the wall first in the women&#8217;s 200 breast with a time of 27.70.<\/p>\n<p>GPG&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexis Wagner\u00a0<\/strong>also snuck under 28 seconds, finishing in 27.88 for second. The 15-year-old dropped over three seconds from her morning swim to win in 4:07.74.<\/p>\n<p>Marlins of Raleigh&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Madison Homovich\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 4:10.92 and Suburban Seahawks&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Madison Kolessar\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 4:12.83.<\/p>\n<p>Central Iowa&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Gillian Davey\u00a0<\/strong>(4:13.26), Wagner (4:15.27), Hudson Explorer&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Paige McCormick\u00a0<\/strong>(4:15.35), Elmbrook&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kaylyn Schoof\u00a0<\/strong>(4:16.49) and Housey\u00a0(4:17.59) also swam in the top eight.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Women\u2019s 400y IM A Final | 2018 NCSA Junior Championships\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wsQPnVu-1BE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 400 IM<\/h2>\n<p>Not too long after placing seventh in the men&#8217;s 50 breast, Storch found himself on top of the podium in the 400 IM. The future Virginia Cavalier was victorious with a time of 3:47.96.<\/p>\n<p>Second place went to Long Island&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jason Louser\u00a0<\/strong>in 3:48.79 and third went to Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sean Conway\u00a0<\/strong>in 3:49.79.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing in the A-final were Vipers of Albuquerque&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Josh Harlan\u00a0<\/strong>(3:50.23), Condors&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Michael Daly\u00a0<\/strong>(3:50.24), Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kyle Barker\u00a0<\/strong>(3:51.01),\u00a0<strong>Kevin Vargas\u00a0<\/strong>(3:51.02) and Patriot&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Gabriel Parnell\u00a0<\/strong>(3:54.53).<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Men\u2019s 400y IM A Final | 2018 NCSA Junior Championships\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yKFiHN_x7Os?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s 50 Fly<\/h2>\n<p>Arlington&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Victoria Huske\u00a0<\/strong>powered her way to the gold medal in the women&#8217;s 50 fly, finishing the race with a swift 23.60 as the only swimmer under the 24-second barrier.<\/p>\n<p>The silver medal went to Bates in 24.06 and Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Phoebe Bacon\u00a0<\/strong>got the bronze in 24.26.<\/p>\n<p>Aquajets&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Isabelle Stadden\u00a0<\/strong>(24.31), Academy Bullets&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Athena Ye\u00a0<\/strong>(24.32), Blue Dolfins&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Abigail Gibbons\u00a0<\/strong>(24.33), Delta&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Grace Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>(24.40) and\u00a0<strong>Olivia French\u00a0<\/strong>(24.72) rounded out the top flight.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Women\u2019s 50y Fly A Final | 2018 NCSA Junior Championships\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0_IYtJm16WQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s 50 Fly<\/h2>\n<p>Future Florida Gator\u00a0<strong>William Davis\u00a0<\/strong>of Metro Atlanta won a close men&#8217;s 50 fly battle to conclude day three.
