The first full day of the NCAA Division I Women\u2019s Championships is sure to continue the meet\u2019s fast start from Wednesday\u2019s opening relay.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of stars and top seeds looking to get their hand on the wall first and put their teams in contention.<\/p>\n

The first event in Wednesday\u2019s prelims is the 200 free relay. Cal is the top seed at 1:25.87, followed by Louisville (1:26.92) and Michigan (1:28.00). The first individual event of the meet is the 500 free. Katie Ledecky<\/strong> is the top seed by far at 4:26.09. Next is Michigan\u2019s Rose Bi<\/strong> at 4:35.02, followed by Georgia\u2019s Courtney Harnish<\/strong> (4:35.69).<\/p>\n

In the 200 IM, Texas A&M\u2019s Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> has the top seed at 1:52.69, while Cal\u2019s Kathleen Baker<\/strong> is second (1:52.70) and Kentucky\u2019s Asia Seidt<\/strong> third (1:53.04) with Tennessee\u2019s Meghan Small<\/strong> and Stanford\u2019s Ella Eastin<\/strong> looming.<\/p>\n

The first sprint event is the 50 free and Stanford\u2019s Simone Manuel<\/strong> is the top seed at 21.20, just ahead of Ohio State\u2019s Liz Li<\/strong> (21.28), Tennessee\u2019s Erika Brown<\/strong> (21.39) and Cal\u2019s Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> (21.41).<\/p>\n
