After Denver dominated the first night of competition at the 2018 CSCAA\u00a0NIT, their women’s team continued to roll\u00a0by placing several swimmers into A final\u00a0positions while the Incarnate Wood men stepped up on night two by nabbing two A final victories to their point total.<\/p>\n

Beyond team scores, a total of 11\u00a0meet records were smashed this evening with many including several swimmers dipping under the old record in their respective events.<\/p>\n

Kicking off the meet in the women’s 200 medley relay was San Jose’s quartet of Colleen Humel<\/strong> (25.03), Shona<\/strong> Spikes<\/strong> (28.73), Brenna Bushey<\/strong> (23.45) and Brittany Heng<\/strong> (22.49) who produced a new meet record time of 1:39.70, a full second ahead of the old record held by Western Kentucky. South Carolina (1:40.49) and FIU (1:40.69) were both under the old record as well.<\/p>\n
