Both teams have a lot of experience winning championships and will look to notch another title in their belt come March 14-17.

Three teams will fight for dominance on the NCAA Division III men’s stage: Kenyon, Denison, and Emory. Prior to the 2017 championships, the fight was always between Kenyon and Denison, but Emory rose up and proved that they can’t be counted out and won the title. This year, they will look to defend that title. On the women’s side, however, it is all Emory, with the Eagles having claimed eight straight team titles since 2010.

The men of Olivet Nazarene has continually been a strong team at the NAIA Championships, and last year the women rose up and claimed their first-ever title. While both teams are set for another chance at a championship title, the men’s and women’s teams of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) should not be counted out of the title mix.

Indian River State College (IRSC) have dominated the NJCAA Championships for so many years, that there are few questions remaining as to whether or not they will claim titles at the 2018 meet. In fact, last year Indian River collected their 43rd straight men’s title and 35th straight women’s title!

To read more about Swimming World’s championship predictions, check out the March issue, available now!
