March 6.  THE Southern Pacific Masters runs a competitive open water swim series during the summer months in Southern California.  In 2011, the overall male and female high point winners were <a href=\"http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=Bryan_Buck\">Bryan Buck<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=Tanya_MacLean\"target=\"_blank\">Tanya MacLean<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The series included the Seal Beach Rough Water Swim (1 and 3 miles), Semana Nautica (6 miles), Balboa to Newport Pier-to-Pier (2 miles), Naples Island Swim (1 and miles), Don Burns Corona del Mar Swim (1 mile) and the Slam The Dam at Lake Mead (1.2 and 2.4 miles).
