That quartet came right back after a short break and won the 200 freestyle relay to close the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Cal leads with 379 points. Stanford is second at 361, followed by USC (245), Arizona State (185), Utah (139) and Arizona (127).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2018-pac-12-mens-championships-day-2-day-2\/ncaa-college\/2018\/March\/1?rtn=%2Fresults%2Fall%3Fpage%3D1%26orderBy%3DResult.MeetStartDateTime%26sortDirection%3D1%26q%3D\">DAY 2 RESULTS<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Order of events<\/h3>\n<h3><strong>500 Free<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Stanford had five in the final for the 500 free and picked up some big points to start the second night of finals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grant Shoults<\/strong> won the 500 free in 4:13.70, holding off Cal&#8217;s <strong>Sean Grieshop<\/strong> by nearly a second (4:14.44).<\/p>\n<p>Stanford&#8217;s <strong>Liam Egan<\/strong>, who had the top seed in prelims, finished third (4:16.36), while teammates <strong>Matthew Hirschberger<\/strong> (4:16.60), <strong>Johann Calloni<\/strong> (4:16.85) and<strong> James Murphy<\/strong> (4:17.46) went 5-6-7 for the Cardinal.<\/p>\n<p>Cal&#8217;s <strong>Nick Norman<\/strong> took fourth (4:16.41).
