The Hoosiers got the job done in the morning with ten championship finalists compared to Michigan&#8217;s nine. Michigan will have a lot of points in the 1650 and Indiana will have a lot in diving so the two could cancel each other out. So it will depend on who has the best 100 freestylers, which Indiana has the upper hand.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a battle for fourth place between Purdue, Minnesota and Wisconsin and the ups, mids, downs table is listed below. Sophomore\u00a0<strong>Mohamed Samy\u00a0<\/strong>(1:40.91) is seeded first while freshman\u00a0<strong>Gabriel Fantoni\u00a0<\/strong>(1:42.10) is second and junior\u00a0<strong>James Beckman\u00a0<\/strong>(1:42.57) is sixth. Becker is swimming in his home pool and already has won the 50 free as he did that upsetting Michigan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Paul Powers<\/strong> to break his three year winning streak in the event at Big Ten&#8217;s. Becker is second at 41.96 and Powers is fourth at 42.67.<\/p>\n<p>IU placed three bodies\u00a0in the A-final with Pieroni,\u00a0<strong>Bruno Blaskovic\u00a0<\/strong>(42.26) and\u00a0<strong>Ali Khalafalla\u00a0<\/strong>(42.93) getting in the top eight. McHugh broke the pool record with a 1:51.66 this morning in Minnesota as he broke the 1:52.43 that was set at the 2011 NCAA&#8217;s by Texas&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Eric Friedland<\/strong>. McHugh is the top seed by over a second over Michigan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Thomas Cope\u00a0<\/strong>(1:52.91) and 100 champ\u00a0<strong>Ian Finnerty\u00a0<\/strong>(1:53.22) of Indiana.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan stepped up big in the 200 breast with four total A-finalists. Cope led the way ahead of\u00a0<strong>Charlie Swanson\u00a0<\/strong>(1:53.49),\u00a0<strong>Jacob Montague\u00a0<\/strong>(1:54.18) and\u00a0<strong>Jeremy Babinet\u00a0<\/strong>(1:55.31).
