The senior stopped the clock in 4:12.89 to finish three seconds ahead of the rest of the field, making this her second-straight win in this event.<\/p>\n<p>Marshall\u2019s <strong>Emma Lockyer <\/strong>earned the silver in 4:15.51 and Rice\u2019s <strong>Jaecey Parham <\/strong>grabbed the bronze in 4:18.98.<\/p>\n<p>Marshall\u2019s <strong>Caroline Wanner <\/strong>(4:21.35), Rice\u2019s <strong>Hanna Huston <\/strong>(4:22.31), Florida International\u2019s <strong>Taylor Grabenhorst <\/strong>(4:23.11), Marshall\u2019s <strong>Maddie Schaffer <\/strong>(4:26.62) and Rice\u2019s <strong>Rylee Linhardt <\/strong>(4:26.75) completed the top heat.<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Fly<\/h2>\n<p>After placing second in this event in 2017, Florida International\u2019s <strong>Letizia Bertelli <\/strong>found herself at the top of the podium this year. The senior, who was last year\u2019s C-USA Swimmer of the Year, touched the wall in 53.32.<\/p>\n<p>Florida International took the top two spots after <strong>Ally Mayhew <\/strong>finished second in 54.25. Rice\u2019s <strong>Kiley Beall <\/strong>took third in 54.70.<\/p>\n<p>Rice\u2019s <strong>Brittany Bui <\/strong>(55.06), North Texas\u2019 <strong>Brittany Thurstin <\/strong>(55.16), Marshall\u2019s <strong>Hannah Robins <\/strong>(55.36), North Texas\u2019 <strong>Sydney Buckley <\/strong>(55.54) and Florida International\u2019s <strong>Kelsie Campbell <\/strong>(55.72) rounded out the A-final.<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 200 Free<\/h2>\n<p>Florida International again found themselves with gold and silver, this time in the 200 free. Panther senior <strong>Kyna Pereira<\/strong>, last year\u2019s C-USA Championships Swimmer of the Meet, finished in 1:46.72 to make this her second-straight win in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Pereira\u2019s teammate <strong>Skye Carey <\/strong>finished second in 1:47.35 while Rice\u2019s <strong>Alicia Caldwell <\/strong>took a close third in 1:47.47.<\/p>\n<p>Marshall\u2019s <strong>Catherine Bendziewicz <\/strong>(1:47.73), Florida International\u2019s <strong>Megan Bowen <\/strong>(1:48.09), Rice\u2019s <strong>Lindsay Mathys <\/strong>(1:48.14), Florida International\u2019s <strong>Berta Triola <\/strong>(1:48.84) and North Texas\u2019 <strong>Isabelle Morris <\/strong>(1:48.86) also swam in the fastest heat.<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Breast<\/h2>\n<p>Old Dominion\u2019s <strong>Ashley Brem <\/strong>dropped over one second from her prelims time to win the 100 breast with a time of 1:00.75. This marks the junior\u2019s first-ever C-USA individual title.<\/p>\n<p>Rice\u2019s <strong>Marie-Claire Schillinger<\/strong>, the current conference record-holder in the event, took second in 1:00.89 and Florida International\u2019s <strong>Carita Luukkanen <\/strong>finished third in 1:01.01.<\/p>\n<p>Florida International\u2019s <strong>Sara Gyertyanffy <\/strong>(1:01.62), Florida International\u2019s <strong>Nicole Hunnewell <\/strong>(1:01.96), North Texas\u2019 <strong>Claudia Kitching <\/strong>(1:02.00), Florida International\u2019s <strong>Taylor Grabenhorst <\/strong>(1:02.53) and Rice\u2019s <strong>Nicole Limberg <\/strong>(1:02.59) rounded out the A-final.<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Back<\/h2>\n<p>After winning the 50 free last night in record-setting time, Florida International&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Naomi Ruele\u00a0<\/strong>again found herself at the top of the podium, this time in the 100 back. The junior posted a final time of 52.54, dropping nearly two seconds off her prelims time for\u00a0her second-straight C-USA win in this stroke and distance.<\/p>\n<p>Florida Atlantic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Abby Marshall\u00a0<\/strong>got to the wall second in 54.55 and Marshall&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jordyn O&#8217;Dell\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 54.90.<\/p>\n<p>Beall (55.05), Old Dominion&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jacklyn VandePoel\u00a0<\/strong>(55.36), Old Dominion&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Elena Adcock\u00a0<\/strong>(55.46), Rice&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Julie Litver\u00a0<\/strong>(55.62) and Florida Atlantic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Miranda Fellowes\u00a0<\/strong>(56.86) also competed in the A-final.<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 1-Meter Diving<\/h2>\n<p>Just as in the first diving event, Florida International swept the top five spots.\u00a0After placing second on the 3-meter diving earlier this weekend, Panther senior\u00a0<strong>Becca Quesnel\u00a0<\/strong>found herself at the top of the podium for the 1-meter with a score of 297.80.<\/p>\n<p>She was followed be fellow Panthers\u00a0<strong>Rachel Foord\u00a0<\/strong>(291.40) in second and\u00a0<strong>Brittany Haskell\u00a0<\/strong>(284.30) in third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brooke Bouchard\u00a0<\/strong>(271.00),\u00a0<strong>Laura Coronado\u00a0<\/strong>(254.95), North Texas&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Averie Ruiz\u00a0<\/strong>(239.50), Florida Atlantic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lauren Beyer\u00a0<\/strong>(236.75) and Marshall&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Madison Young\u00a0<\/strong>(232.80) also dove in the A-final.<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 4&#215;100 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n<p>Florida International has gone 4-for-4 in relays so far this meet, dominating\u00a0the 4&#215;100 medley tonight to conclude day three.
