The Cary Academy girls claimed their second straight 3A team title in equally dominant fashion, accumulating 349 points, with Charlotte Latin School finishing in second (237 points) and St. Mary’s School in third (216 points).

Girls

Cary Academy’s depth proved to be decisive, as it won only one event of the meet on the girls’ side, claiming gold in the 200 Medley Relay when Nisma Said, Amy Chang, Charlotte Hook, and Helen Chen combined for a 1:48.7. Saint Mary’s School (Bowen Gordon, Abby Arens, Caroline Crouse, Naomi Thombs) earned the silver in 1:51.18 and Covenant Day School (Sophie Lindner, Dylan Gentner, Lawson Brantley, Susanna Schoeck) rounded out the podium in a 1:51.65.

Ravenscroft School’s Mary Pruden earned the first individual gold of the night, winning the 200 free in an automatic All American time of 1:48.79. They were followed by Latin’s Lindsay Flynn who earned the bronze medal with a 51.81.

Pruden, a Columbia commit, claimed her second individual title of the night in the 500 free, stopping the clock in a 4:52.57.
