The Sunset girls beat the Jesuit girls by a mere 1.5 points, with a score of 207 to 205.5. On the boys side, Jesuit came out ahead, with 157 points to Sunset&#8217;s 140.<\/p>\n<h3>Girls<\/h3>\n<p>Lakeridge won the 200 medley relay in 1:45.56 while Jesuit was second (1:46.02) and Sunset touched third (1:48.80). Jesuit then got two of the top three spots in the 200 freestyle.\u00a0<strong>Elise Kreutzer\u00a0<\/strong>won the event in 1:50.88 while\u00a0<strong>Sofia Nosack\u00a0<\/strong>was third in 1:52.92. Sunset&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Angie Lindsay\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 1:51.07. Lindsay won the 500 in 5:00.84. Sunset&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sofia Nosack\u00a0<\/strong>was second (5:01.45).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Karelyn Laderou\u00a0<\/strong>of West Linn won the 200 IM in 2:03.02, but Sunset\u00a0added points from runner up\u00a0<strong>Tia Lindsay\u00a0<\/strong>in 2:05.08. She was also second in 5:01.48.<\/p>\n<p>Aloha&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kaitlyn Dobler\u00a0<\/strong>set a state record in the 50 freestyle with a 22.35. Dobler then crushed the 100 breaststroke. The sophomore clocked a 59.89 to set a state record. Sunset&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alayna Connor\u00a0<\/strong>was second (23.10) in the 50. Connor won the 100 free in 50.96. Kreutzer was second in 51.38 and her Jesuit teammate\u00a0<strong>Isabella Wallace\u00a0<\/strong>was third in 51.61.<\/p>\n<p>Lakeridge&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mara Newman\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 fly in 55.53 ahead of Sunset&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lindsay Swail\u00a0<\/strong>(56.21). Newman won the 100 backstroke in 54.62.<\/p>\n<p>Sunset&#8217;s Swail, Angie Lindsay,\u00a0<strong>Lily Gardner<\/strong>, and Connor won the 200 freestyle relay by four seconds, setting a division record of 1:34.54.<\/p>\n<p>Lindsay, Lindsay, Swail, and Connor won the final relay for Sunset by nine seconds, touching in 3:25.69.<\/p>\n<h3>Boys<\/h3>\n<p>Jesuit&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Trent Martinez\u00a0<\/strong>swam a 1:39.00 to win the 200 freestyle and a 4:32.39 to win the 500.<\/p>\n<p>Beaverton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/oregon-6a-hs-champ-van-mathias-sends-verbal-commit-to-indiana-hoosiers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Van Mathias<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the 200 IM by nearly three seconds with a 1:48.01. The Indiana commit set a state record in the 100 butterfly, finishing in 48.89.<\/p>\n<p>McMinnville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Garret Sutton\u00a0<\/strong>raced to a 20.71 50 freestyle, just faster than Sunset&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caspar Corbeau\u00a0<\/strong>in 20.81 and Westview&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ethan Luc\u00a0<\/strong>in 20.92. Luc won the 100 freestyle in 45.50. Corbeau domianted the 100 breaststroke in 55.72.<\/p>\n<p>Jesuit won the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.
