DICK Sidner announced the 2012 Planet Adventure Swimming Series (PASS), three open water swims in Noblesville in central Indiana.<\/p>\n<p>Race director <a href=&quot;http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=Dick_Sidner&quot;target=&quot;_blank&quot;>Sidner<\/a> explains, &quot;<i>The <a href=&quot;http:\/\/www.planetadventurerace.com\/tw\/registration\/registration_pass.php&quot;>PASS<\/a> events include the <a href=&quot;http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=PASS_1K\/2K&quot;>PASS 1K\/2K<\/a> held on May 26th in Morse Park &#038; Beach, the <a href=&quot;http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=PASS_5K&quot;>PASS 5K<\/a> that is run in conjunction with the 5K U.S. Masters Swimming National Championships on June 23th in South Harbour Club House Beach, and the <a href=&quot;http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=PASS_2K\/4K&quot;>PASS 2K\/4K<\/a> on August 26th in Morse Park &#038; Beach.<\/i>&quot;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;<i>Swimmers must be annual members of U.S. Masters Swimming or they can purchase a one-day license from USMS for an additional US$15.  Plaques will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers and medals to the top swimmers in each male and female age group<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>For the first race, the <a href=&quot;http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=PASS_1K\/2K&quot;>PASS 1K\/2K<\/a>, the water temperature is expected to be cold and wetsuits are legal in a separate division.  For the second race, the <a href=&quot;http:\/\/openwaterpedia.com\/index.php?title=PASS_5K&quot;>PASS 5K<\/a> course is a 5K loop marked with 16 buoys with the water expected to be near 78\u00b0F (+\/-5\u00b0F).
