Apple explained how his confidence has risen since swimming at his first World Championships this summer, and he discussed how Auburn will bounce back after disqualifying their would-be victorious 200 free relay.<\/p>\n<div class=\"oembed-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Zach Apple, Auburn, 50 free at SEC championships\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XmkEYyXTrSg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Minuth went through his race against teammate\u00a0<strong>Akram Mahmoud\u00a0<\/strong>in the 500 free final, and he discussed what it was like trying to hold off Mahmoud. He also discussed what it&#8217;s been like to see South Carolina&#8217;s distance group excel, how its members push each other in training and how his relationship with Gamecocks distance
