The East Carolina men will likely have a more difficult time repeating their win due to their lack of depth on their roster this year.<\/p>\n<p>Houtson\u2019s first top seed comes in the very first event, the 800 free relay, while the University of Connecticut\u2019s men\u2019s team takes the top seeded spot in the event.<\/p>\n<p>HU Sophomore <strong>Zarena Brown<\/strong> will look to win the 500 freestyle on day two of the meet as she is coming in with the top time by nearly five and a half seconds with a 4:44.13.<\/p>\n<p>The ECU duo of <strong>John Myre<\/strong> and <strong>Victor Martins Dos Santos<\/strong> will attempt to go 1-2 as they are seeded in the 50 free, both men are seeded with times of 20.61 and 20.62, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Connecticut\u2019s <strong>William Kearsey<\/strong> will aim for the 100 back title as he comes into the meet with the fastest time by nearly a second with his swift 47.45.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s 1650 free Houston freshman <strong>Reese Lamph<\/strong> will try and win her first conference title while the men\u2019s race will feature Cincinnati distance trio <strong>Christopher Bready<\/strong>, <strong>Din<\/strong> <strong>Selmanovic<\/strong> and <strong>Tyler Jones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For an event-by-event view of the psych sheet, click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swmeets.com\/Realtime\/AAC\/2018\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a herd of conference meets get underway this week the AAC championships are staged for some fast swimming and intense match-ups.
