Psych sheets for all three meets have been released, and all three defending state champions look to be in a position to fight for their titles.<\/p>\n<h2>2A<\/h2>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2018-washington-boys-hs-states-2a-psych-sheets-high-school-2018-02-16.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psych Sheet<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The team from Kingston returns as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/bainbridge-bellevue-battle-highlights-washington-high-school-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">defending state champions<\/a> at the 2A level, and the team has the top seed in all three relays. Kingston has the top two seeds in the 200 IM with\u00a0<strong>Timothy Gallagher\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Ethan Fox<\/strong>. Fox is second seed in the 100 free behind Columbia River&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rob Mead<\/strong>. Mead also leads the way in the 100 backstroke, just ahead of Gallagher.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/josh-bottelberghe-gives-verbal-commitment-to-notre-dame\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Josh Bottelberghe<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is the defending champion and state record holder in the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. The Columbia River senior and Notre Dame commit returns as the top seed in both of those events this year.<\/p>\n<h2>3A<\/h2>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2018-washington-boys-hs-states-3a-psych-sheets-high-school-2018-02-16.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psych Sheet<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The defending champions from Bainbridge Island have the fastest entry time in each of the three relays. The team&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>William Waite\u00a0<\/strong>is top seed in the 200 IM. His teammate\u00a0<strong>Makai Ingalls\u00a0<\/strong>is second in the 100 butterfly behind Mercer Island&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>James Richardson<\/strong>. Richardson is top seed in the 100 backstroke, just ahead of O&#8217;Dea&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nathan Hayes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jude Wenker<\/strong>, a Bainbridge Island sophomore, leads the way in the 100 freestyle and is third in the 200 freestyle. His junior teammate\u00a0<strong>Kevin Houseman\u00a0<\/strong>has the fastest time in the 100 breaststroke.<\/p>\n<h2>4A<\/h2>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2018-washington-boys-hs-states-4a-psych-sheets-high-school-2018-02-16.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psych Sheet<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Last year&#8217;s defending champion, Camas, has just one relay top seed- in the 200 freestyle relay. The team from Kamiak leads the way in the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<p>Olympia senior\u00a0<strong>Alexander Wright\u00a0<\/strong>has the top time in the 200 and 500 freestyle. Camas&#8217; senior\u00a0<strong>Mark Kim\u00a0<\/strong>is second in the 200 free and third in the 500 free. Camas has another second seed- junior\u00a0<strong>Eric Wu<\/strong> in the 200 IM. Jackson&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Cook\u00a0<\/strong>has the fastest time\u00a0in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke.<\/p>\n<p>Glacier Park&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matthew King\u00a0<\/strong>leads the way in the 50 freestyle by nearly a second. He&#8217;s also top seed in the 100 freestyle.
