For more information about Agon, visit their website\u00a0<\/i><i><a href=\"https:\/\/agonswim.com\/\">AgonSwim.com<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>New Hampshire crowned the Exeter girls and the Bishop Guertin boys as the 2018 Division I High School swim and dive state champions on Saturday afternoon at the University of New Hampshire.<\/p>\n<h3>Girls<\/h3>\n<p>The Exeter girls scored 291.5 points. Bedford was second with 212 points. The 200 medley relay set the tone where Exeter&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mackenzie Patch<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Hannah Lord<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Reagan Lord<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Erin Madden\u00a0<\/strong>won in 1:53.15 and Bedford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brooke Gould<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Taylor Lee<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Aubrey Patrick<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Isabelle Tagliaferro\u00a0<\/strong>were second in 1:56.51.<\/p>\n<p>Keene freshman\u00a0<strong>Teresa Ivan\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 free (1:52.87) and Hannah Lord was second in 1:56.34. Lord swam back to back events, winning the 200 IM by ten seconds in 2:09.36. Reagan Lord topped the 100 fly in 59.07.<\/p>\n<p>Dover senior\u00a0<strong>Alirose Beauregard\u00a0<\/strong>won the 50 freestyle in 26.02, a half second ahead of Tagliaferro in 26.42. Beauregard was runner up in the 100 free (56.92) behind\u00a0<strong>Zoe Freedman\u00a0<\/strong>in 56.21.<\/p>\n<p>In 5:13.24\u00a0<strong>Lauren Brennan\u00a0<\/strong>won the 500 free for Merrimack. Londonberry&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kaitlin Witkop\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 breaststroke (1:09.02).\u00a0Nashua South&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ava Rondeau\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 back in 1:00.44, just faster than Patch in 1:00.54.<\/p>\n<p>The team from Keene beat Bedford by .03 for the 200 freestyle relay victory. Exeter later won the 400 freestyle relay by seven seconds (3:44.81).<\/p>\n<h3>Boys<\/h3>\n<p>Bishop Guertin scored 350 points while Exeter was second with 272 points. As in the women&#8217;s meet, the top two teams went one-two in\u00a0the opening 200 medley relay. <strong>Aidan Daudlier<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mark Zoda<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Matthew Rantala<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Michael Shusta\u00a0<\/strong>won for Bishop Guertin in 1:37.63 while\u00a0<strong>Jack Carignan, Mason Pomroy<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tony Min<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Charles Blake\u00a0<\/strong>were second for Exeter in 1:38.18.<\/p>\n<p>Bedford&#8217;s <strong>Trent Levasseur\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 free in 1:45.09 ahead of Bishop Guertin teammates\u00a0<strong>John Puksta\u00a0<\/strong>(1:45.36) and\u00a0<strong>Jack Januario\u00a0<\/strong>(1:47.10).\u00a0Puksta won the 100 free in 48.25.<\/p>\n<p>Another Bishop Guertin swimmer,\u00a0<strong>Matthew Lashua,\u00a0<\/strong>finished on the podium, winning the 200 IM in 1:56.96. His teammate Zoda won the 50 free in 21.57, ahead of Carignan in 22.08. Bishop Guertin went one-two in the 500 free with Januario (4:44.75) and Lashua (4:50.27). Carignan, a senior, won the 100 backstroke in 51.45.<\/p>\n<p>Exeter&#8217;s Min edged Rantala 52.40 to 52.75 for the 100 fly victory. Min was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.37) behind Zoda (58.50).<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Guertin dominated the 200 freestyle relay, winning by five seconds with a 1:29.39.
