Pleasant Grove finished second with 279 points. The women from Lone Peak were second with 297 points while American Fork totaled 338.5 points for the team title.<\/p>\n<h2>Girls<\/h2>\n<p>Kearns Cougar&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Holly Biesinger<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Lily Plaudis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kimerly Biesinger<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Deja Martz\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 medley relay in 1:51.60, nearly two seconds faster than second. Plaudis ran away with the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.68.<\/p>\n<p>Breaking two minutes in the 200 free and earning gold was\u00a0<strong>Keely Christenot\u00a0<\/strong>of Kearns in 1:58.27. Her teammate\u00a0Plaudis then dominated the 200 IM in 2:06.66.\u00a0American Fork&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Allie Hill\u00a0<\/strong>edged Christenot 5:20.16 to 5:20.70 for the 500 freestyle title.<\/p>\n<p>Layton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Abby Frazier\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 25.12 to win the 50 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Lone Peak&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Summer Shreeve\u00a0<\/strong>was the sole swimmer under a minute in the 100 fly, winning the event in 59.30. Her teammate\u00a0<strong>Taylor McAleavy\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 free with a 55.36.\u00a0Their teammate<strong> Kenzie Chester\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 backstroke in 1:00.64.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lizzie Smith, Camarie Cardon<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Megan Mickelson<\/strong>, and\u00a0McAleavy combined to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:43.64, just faster than Syracuse High School in 1:44.00.<\/p>\n<p>In the 400 freestyle relay Lone Peak&#8217;s Chester, Mickelson, McAleavy, and Shreeve went a 3:42.62 for gold.<\/p>\n<h2>Boys<\/h2>\n<p>The Lone Peak High School team was well ahead in the 200 medley relay.\u00a0<strong>Josh Ries<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jordan\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Braden Tiffany<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Jake Mickelson\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:35.05. Jordan Tiffany,\u00a0<strong>Johnny Condie<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Boyd Abernethy<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Bryant Karratti\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 freestyle relay with their 1:27.93.<\/p>\n<p>The Tiffany duo went one-two in the 200 IM as Jordan touched in 1:56.25 and Braden finished in 2:00.85. Their teammate Ries was second in the 50 free (21.65) behind Cyprus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Brian Christofferson\u00a0<\/strong>(21.34). Jordan Tiffany won the 100 fly in 50.74. Christofferson then dominated the 100 free in 46.67.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Devin Bunnell,\u00a0<\/strong>a junior from Pleasant Grove won the 200 free by five seconds with a 1:40.20. He also topped the 500 free by ten seconds, winning with a 4:39.75.<\/p>\n<p>After leading off the medley relay Ries won the 100 back in 51.22 while Braden Tiffany was second (52.40).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Denton Anderson,\u00a0<\/strong>a senior at WL won the 100 breaststroke in 57.34. He was followed by two more seniors: American Fork&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cy Dunkley\u00a0<\/strong>(58.78) and Kearns&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Sage Helton\u00a0<\/strong>(59.90).<\/p>\n<p>Lone Peak made it a relay sweep as Ries, Mickelson, Braden Tiffany, and Karratti touched in 3:11.07 in the 400 freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2018-utah-6a-high-school-states-results-high-school-2018-02-10.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Full Results<\/a><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agon is the proud sponsor of all high school coverage (recruiting, results, state championships, etc.) on SwimmingWorld.com.
