Femke Heemskerk moved to third in the world rankings in the women's 100 free with a time of 54.17, a time matched by Sarah Sjostrom at the Swedish Grand Prix in Uppsala today. Only Melanie Schlanger (53.87) and Amanda Weir (54.14) have been quicker this year. Inge Dekker finished second in 55.07 for a top 15 spot, while Beryl Gastaldello placed thirdin 56.48. <\/p>\n
Camille Lacourt blazed through the men's 100 back with a winning time of 54.33. That swim is less than a second back of his third-ranked season best of 53.59 from the Nancy meet last month. Ryosuke Irie (53.32) and Matt Grevers (53.55) own the other sub-54 times so far this year. Dorian Gandin took second in 56.40, while Bilal Achelhi touched third in 59.99. <\/p>\n
