The sophomore from Rockville, Maryland, faced off with his Seminole teammates against No. 3 Florida, and Alabama and Auburn, both tied for No. 16. Alaniz won the 200 back with a time of 1:43.37, and placed second in the 400 IM, clocking a 3:49.68.<\/p>\n<p>Baker turned in a strong showing for the Tar Heels at the Janis Hape Dowd Nike Invitational, swimming against No. 10 NC State and No. 25 Duke. The freshman from Anderson, South Carolina, won all three events in which she competed, and posted NCAA provisional times in each.
