In the girls competition, Pope won the 6A meet with 349 points while Johns Creek was second with 338 points. The 7A title went to Brookwood with 363 points while Lambert was runner up with 325.5 points.<\/p>\n<h2>6A<\/h2>\n<p>Johns Creek had the upper hand to begin the meet on Saturday afternoon.\u00a0<strong>Ryan Showfety<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Adeline Farrington<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tatum Smith<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Julia Lauren Fod\u00a0<\/strong>combined for a 1:44.78 in the 200 medley relay ahead of the Pope team in 1:45.57. Smith was victorious in the 50 free with a 23.38.<\/p>\n<p>Pope&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mady Bragg\u00a0<\/strong>edged Alpharetta&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cali Murray\u00a0<\/strong>1:51.03 to 1:51.70 for the 200 freestyle victory. Bragg also touched in 55.89 to win the 100 butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>Centennial sophomore\u00a0<strong>Katharine Ward\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 IM in 2:02.92. Pope&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anna Prestel\u00a0<\/strong>picked up second place points (2:06.78).<\/p>\n<p>Another Pope victory came in the 100 free when\u00a0<strong>Sarah Sorensen\u00a0<\/strong>touched the wall in 50.85. Sorensen also won the 100 backstroke with her 56.05.<\/p>\n<p>Cambridge&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Abigail Grottle\u00a0<\/strong>was the lone swimmer under five minutes in the 500 freestyle final. Arner&#8217;s 4:49.72 earned her 500 freestyle gold.<\/p>\n<p>Lambert added another victory in the 200 IM as senior Aikins touched in 2:01.34.<\/p>\n<p>Walton swimmers finished first and second in the 50 freestyle. Sophomore\u00a0<strong>Jasmin Hoffmann\u00a0<\/strong>(23.61) and\u00a0senior\u00a0<strong>Melissa Cox\u00a0<\/strong>(23.69) earned gold and silver in the sprint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Addie Rose Bullock<\/strong>, a junior from Keenesaw Mountain, won the 100 fly with a 54.50.<\/p>\n<p>Eventual team champions Brookwood finally got a victory in the 100 freestyle as freshman\u00a0<strong>Lily Burke\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 50.92. Walton duo Hoffmann (51.63) and Cox (51.67) followed.<\/p>\n<p>Powered by their sprint duo, Walton won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:35.49 with the team of Hoffmann,\u00a0<strong>Abby Belinski<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jami Williams<\/strong>, and Cox.<\/p>\n<p>After leading off her team&#8217;s winning medley relay, Aikins swam\u00a0a 55.58 to win the 100 backstroke.
