PHOENIX, Arizona, January 28. DURING the past week, the following meet managers took full advantage of uploading their results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.<\/p>\n
HIGH SCHOOL
\nBELLBROOK INVITATIONAL<\/p>\n
Thirteen teams from around the Dayton, Ohio, area converged on the Beavercreek YMCA to compete in the Bellbrook Invitational Jan. 21. The Dayton Oakwood Lumberjacks swept the team titles. They scored a combined total of 352 points, followed by Bellbrook (252) and Wilmington (164). In the girls race, Oakwood’s 181 points topped Wilmington’s 116 and Bellbrook’s 108. Oakwood’s boys were tops with 171 points, with Bellbrook taking second (144) and Eaton third (74).<\/p>\n

COLLEGE
\nSOUTH CAROLINA VS. GEORGIA<\/p>\n
The Lady Bulldogs of the University of Georgia notched their 77th straight home victory Jan. 20 against South Carolina. This gave them Georgia’s all-sports school record, bettering the previous mark set by the men’s tennis team from 1968-1972. The final score was Georgia 177-112 over the Lady Gamecocks.<\/p>\n
The Georgia men improved their record to 4-2-1 with their win over South Carolina, 180-112. <\/p>\n

TENNESSEE VS. GEORGIA<\/p>\n
The next day, Jan. 21, Georgia’s swimming teams swept the University of Tennessee. The men’s team posted a 163-137 victory over the Volunteers, and the women’s squad celebrated their Senior Day by a 169-131 triumph. <\/p>\n

SMU VS. HOUSTON<\/p>\n
In a close battle Jan. 21, SMU defeated Houston 155-143. It came down to the final event, the 200 free relay, which was won by Houston (1:35.33-1:36.64). <\/p>\n
