{"id":293944,"date":"2018-01-31T07:45:21","date_gmt":"2018-01-31T14:45:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=293944"},"modified":"2018-02-07T09:39:19","modified_gmt":"2018-02-07T16:39:19","slug":"stanford-women-cal-men-lead-cscaa-poll-texas-men-tumble","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/stanford-women-cal-men-lead-cscaa-poll-texas-men-tumble\/","title":{"rendered":"Stanford Women, Cal Men Lead CSCAA Poll; Texas Men Tumble"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"block-38b83e2cc27df549b42d\" class=\"sqs-block html-block sqs-block-html\" data-block-type=\"2\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_8_1517386484912_9366\" class=\"sqs-block image-block sqs-block-image sqs-text-ready\" data-block-type=\"5\">\u00a0In the latest edition of the CSCAA Division I swimming and diving poll, the Stanford women have moved passed Texas A&amp;M as the No. 1 ranked team in the country, while the California men were the unanimous top team.<\/div>\n<div class=\"row sqs-row\">\n<div class=\"col sqs-col-6 span-6\">\n<div id=\"block-yui_3_17_2_1_1517370410390_50880\" class=\"sqs-block code-block sqs-block-code\" data-block-type=\"23\">\n<div class=\"sqs-block-content\">\n<p>Michigan, Cal and Texas finished third, fourth and fifth in the women&#8217;s poll. On the men&#8217;s side, Indiana ranked second ahead of Florida, Stanford and NC State. Texas, meanwhile, fell from No. 2 to No. 8 after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ncaa-swimming-arizona-state-men-beat-texas-and-what-it-all-means\/\" target=\"_blank\">a loss at Arizona State<\/a>. The Sun Devils, meanwhile, moved up to No. 7.<\/p>\n<p>The CSCAA stresses in every poll release that, &#8220;The poll aims to measure the top teams in head-to-head competition&#8221; &#8212; hence, not necessarily predicting how they will stack up come championship time.<\/p>\n<p>With dual meet season on the verge of wrapping up, the next poll will come out next Wednesday, Feb. 7. <a
