IN just a couple of hours, James Magnussen and a few other of Australia&#39;s Olympic hopefuls will test out the new facility in Adelaide that will host the Australian Olympic Trials. <\/p>\n<p>The South Australian state championships will be one of the last opportunities for racing before these swimmers compete for spots on the Olympic team in mid-March. Magnussen will step up next to fellow relay world champs Matt Abood and Eamon Sullivan in the 100 free, a likely preview of the top finishers at Trials. Emily Seebohm, Sophie Edington and Blair Evans will be the top swimmers to watch in women&#39;s events, and Hayden Stoeckel, who trains in Adelaide, will carry the flag in the backstroke events.<\/p>\n<p>The Cal-Berkeley women&#39;s swim team has supplanted Georgia as the number one team in Division I, according to the newest poll by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The Golden Bears beat conference rivals Arizona and ASU last weekend, and will face USC and UCLA this weekend in their run for a possible second straight NCAA title in March. Florida, who was the 2010 NCAA team champion, moves up to number two. Georgia, who had been ranked number one for most of the season, fell to number five after losing to Texas a couple of weeks ago. On the men&#39;s side, Arizona holds on to their number one spot after beating Stanford and Cal on the road.
