GENEVA, Switzerland, January 22. THE three-day Geneva Long Course International featured swimmers from across Europe. <\/p>\n
Luisa Trombetti earned the women's 400 free title in 4:23.11. Notably, Germany's Leonie Beck won the junior heat in 4:24.91. Trombetti doubled up with a 2:19.47 in the women's 200 IM, while Beck won the junior heat again with a 2:23.80. Trombetti followed up with a meet record of 4:53.93 in the women's 400 IM. That swim beat the 4:56.68 set by Louise Jansen back in 2008.<\/p>\n
Francesco Di Lecce took the men's 50 breast in 29.26. He doubled up with a 1:03.69 in the men's 100 breast. Di Lecce's third title came by way of the men's 200 breast, when he clocked a 2:19.57.<\/p>\n
Michela Guzzetti topped the women's 200 breast in 2:32.31. Her second title came by way of the women's 100 breast with a 1:10.64, then she tripled with a 33.57 to win the women's 50 breast. <\/p>\n
Beatrice Fassone captured the women's 200 free in 2:02.78, then doubled with a 1:03.06 in the women's 100 fly. She earned her third title of the weekend with a 57.26 in the women's 100 free.<\/p>\n
Max Claussen won the men's 100 back in 58.33, but Philipp Sikatzki topped all-comers with a winning 57.28 in the junior heats that broke the junior meet record of 57.93 set by Charlie Boldison in 2010. Sikatzki returned in the men's open 50 back with a 27.33 for the win. <\/p>\n
Eileen Diener notched the women's 100 back title in 1:04.03. She doubled up with a 2:16.54 in the women's 200 back, while Federico Gilardi captured the men's 200 back in 2:05.12, then won the men's 200 fly in 2:03.34. Jovan Mitrovic earned the men's 400 free crown in 3:58.74. He doubled up with a 2:08.17 in the men's 200 IM.<\/p>\n
Riccardo De Lucia won the men's 200 free in 1:52.99, while Jonathan Massacand hit the wall in 55.52 to win the men's 100 fly. Carlos Vives Gomis posted a 4:28.59 to win the men's 400 IM, while Stefano Costamagna won the men's 50 fly in 25.97. Federico Castagno touched in 23.39 to win the men's 50 free, while Luca Pancari won the men's 100 free in 52.26, while Alexandre Haldemann won the junior heat in 52.84. <\/p>\n
