Stars\u00a0<strong>Cate Campbell<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>James Magnussen<\/strong>, <strong>Emma McKeon<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Taylor McKeown\u00a0<\/strong>were on full display on the last night in Sydney.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cate Campbell\u00a0<\/strong>picked up another win in a freestyle event as she took out the 200 free final with a 1:58.86 to just hold off\u00a0<strong>Madison Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.95) and\u00a0<strong>Mikkayla Sheridan\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.98). Campbell has not been known to swim the 200 free in international or national level meets, and has yet to make an appearance on a 4&#215;200 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>She actually took the race out under world record pace and ultimately paid the price in the end. She already insisted she won&#8217;t be swimming that event at Trials, but it was good preparation for her 100.\u00a0\u201cLook, if my country needs me (in the relay at Commonwealth&#8217;s), if it\u2019s in dire straits, then I will come to its aid. She won four events at last year&#8217;s Australian Nationals and has showed no signs of slowing down so far in 2018. McKeon though was beat in the 200 fly final on Sunday night in Sydney by 18-year-old\u00a0<strong>Laura Taylor\u00a0<\/strong>(2:08.11). Roberts came out on top with a convincing win at 22.04 to Magnussen&#8217;s 22.46. McKeown has been consistently one of the best swimmers in Australia and could potentially fill the void that is the 200 IM in Australia.
