Stanford won every event.<\/p>\n<p>Eastin won the 100 breaststroke (1:01.89), 100 butterfly (53.43) and the 200 backstroke (1:54.93).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong> won the 1,000 freestyle (9:19.52) and the 500 freestyle (4:40.89).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simone Manuel<\/strong> won the 200 freestyle (1:44.20). <strong>Janet Hu<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke (52.43).<strong> Katie Drabot<\/strong> won the 200 butterfly (1:54.14). <strong>Ally Howe<\/strong> won the 100 freestyle (49.95).<strong> Grace Zhao<\/strong> won the 200 breaststroke (2:11.19). <strong>Allie Szekely<\/strong> won the 200 IM (1:59.05).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kassidy Cook<\/strong> won 1-meter diving with 308.85 points and 3-meter (298.13).<\/p>\n<p>Hu also won the 50 freestyle (22.09) edging <strong>Katrina Konopka<\/strong> (23.27).<\/p>\n<p>The Stanford men defeated Arizona 194-99 on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>True Sweetser<\/strong> won the 1,000 freestyle (8:58.54). <strong>Grant Shoults<\/strong> won the 200 freestyle (1:37.29). <strong>Ryan Dudzinski<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke (48.36). <strong>Brennan Pastorek<\/strong> won the 100 breaststroke (55.61) and 200 breaststroke (2:01.64). <strong>Alberto Mestre<\/strong> won the 50 freestyle (20.38). <strong>Ted Miclau<\/strong> won 1-meter diving (314.33). <strong>Abrahm DeVine<\/strong> won the 100 free (43.77). <strong>Benjamin Ho<\/strong> won the 200 backstroke (1:47.06).<strong> Liam Egan<\/strong> won the 500 free (4:23.28). <strong>Andrew Liang<\/strong> won the 100 butterfly (47.58). <strong>Tarek Abdelghany<\/strong> won 3-meter diving (389.10).<\/p>\n<p>Arizona&#8217;s <strong>Justin Wright<\/strong> won the 200 butterfly (1:45.80).<strong> Nick Thorne<\/strong> won the 200 IM (1:49.87).<\/p>\n<h3>Cal sweeps Arizona State<\/h3>\n<p>The Cal men&#8217;s swim team topped Arizona State 158-133 on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>A win in the first event of the day, the 400-yard medley relay, featured the team of <strong>Daniel Carr, Connor Hoppe, Justin Lynch<\/strong> and <strong>Ryan Hoffer<\/strong> as the quartet swam to a winning time of 3:11.60 to get the Bears started.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nick Norman<\/strong> kept Cal in the winner&#8217;s circle in the next event, jumping out to an early lead that he would never relinquish to win the 1,000 freestyle. Norman&#8217;s time of 9:00.04 is Cal&#8217;s fastest of the season and dropped over 12 seconds from his time against Stanford in November.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 freestyle featured three of the top swimmers in the Pac-12 as Cal&#8217;s <strong>Michael Jensen<\/strong> and <strong>Andrew Seliskar<\/strong> squared off with Arizona State&#8217;s <strong>Cameron Craig<\/strong>. Jensen established a narrow lead by the 100-yard mark but Seliskar took the lead back by the 150, swimming to a time of 1:35.73 to edge Jensen, who finished second.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore <strong>Zheng Wen Quah<\/strong> earned the first of two wins on the day with a time of 47.60 in the 100 back while <strong>Carson Sand<\/strong> followed with a mark of 54.09 and a win of his own in the 100 breast. <strong>Mike Thomas<\/strong> claimed the 200 fly in 1:44.36 and <strong>Justin Lynch<\/strong> finished the first portion of the meet with a time of 19.88 and a victory in the 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>Jensen picked up in the 100 free where he left off in the 200, clocking a time of 43.07 to just beat Lynch to the wall for the win. A battle of Cal freshmen finished 1-2 in the 200 back as <strong>Bryce Mefford<\/strong> stopped the clock in 1:45.22 to narrowly out-touch Carr. Sand completed a sweep of the breaststroke events with a time of 1:58.71 and Quah earned his own double with a time of 47.63 in the 100 fly. Norman led Cal&#8217;s contingent in the 500 free to the wall, placing second in 4:25.17.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Cal women beat Arizona State 172-118.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Noemie Thomas<\/strong> was one of the double-winners, taking the 100-yard butterfly in 52.60 and the 200 fly in 1:58.41. In addition, junior <strong>Amy Bilquist<\/strong> prevailed in the 100 backstroke (53.38) and 100 freestyle (49.68), while freshman <strong>Robin Neumann<\/strong> won the 200 free (1:47.35) and 500 free (4:55.74).<\/p>\n<p>Others to come out on top during the meet were sophomore <strong>Chenoa Devine<\/strong> in the 1000 free (10:01.70), freshman <strong>Ali Harrison<\/strong> in the 100 breast (1:02.99), sophomore <strong>Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> in the 50 free (22.20), junior <strong>Kathleen Baker<\/strong> in the 200 back (1:57.15), junior <strong>Phoebe LaMay<\/strong> on the 1-meter springboard (315.45) and freshman <strong>Sarah Darcel<\/strong> in the 400 individual medley (4:18.14).
