Jason, a butterfly and sprint freestyle specialist is among the top swimmers in the sport. Some of his notable accomplishments include: Olympic Games 100 butterfly finalist, 5-time medalist at the 2008 African Swimming Championship, 50m butterfly gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games (the first medal won for Kenya at these games), and is the current African 100m butterfly record holder. This past July, at the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China, Jason posted the fourth fastest time of 2011 in the 100m butterfly.
