The Tribe won its sixth-straight away from home, and improved to 10-2 overall while the Lady Monarchs fell to 0-6 on the season.<\/p>\n<p>Down 32 points at the start of the meet due to diving, the Tribe made that up with wins in the first three swimming events and never looked back, winning 11 of 14 swimming events total on the day. That included a 1-2 sweep of both relays, with\u00a0<strong>Katie Sell (Fredericksburg, Va.)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jess Crowley (Acton, Mass.)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Abby Mack (Wayne, Pa.)<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Emma Herold (Kohler, Wisc.)<\/strong>\u00a0combining for the win in the 200 medley relay at 1:45.94 to start the meet off. At the other end of things, Herold led-off the 400 free relay in 52.84 seconds and Sell brought it home in 51.99, while freshmen\u00a0<strong>Megan Bull (Hillsborough, N.J.)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Tara Tiernan (West Hartford, Conn.)<\/strong>\u00a0powered through the middle 200 and helped the team put up a total time of 3:30.98 for the win.<\/p>\n<p>In the individual events, Sell won both of her races, out-touching ODU ace Jacklyn VandePoel in the 100 back in 57.63 seconds, and stopping the clock in 52.53 seconds to win the 100 free by nearly half a second. Fellow junior\u00a0<strong>Morgan Smith (Verona, N.J.)<\/strong>also won both of her races, winning the 1,000 free in 10:23.59 and the 200 IM in 2:08.25.<\/p>\n<p>Bull and Crowley each won one race, the freshman taking the 200 free in 1:53.56 while the senior Crowley swam 56.94 seconds, a lifetime-best by 0.4 seconds, to win the 100 fly. Senior\u00a0<strong>Meghan Schilken (Pittsburgh, Pa.)<\/strong>\u00a0picked up her first win of the year in the 50 free, out-touching her teammate Herold by .01. In addition to being the regular season finale, it will also be Senior Day for the Tribe&#8217;s nine seniors who will be honored prior to the start of the meet.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The William &amp; Mary men&#8217;s swimming team tied the all-time record for most consecutive road wins with a 184-110 victory at Old Dominion\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1131910016\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Saturday<\/span><\/span>. The win, W&amp;M&#8217;s seventh in a row on the road, improved the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Tribe<\/span>\u00a0to 9-1 overall, while the Monarchs fell to 1-4 on the season.<\/p>\n<p>W&amp;M started the meet down 32 points due to diving held earlier in the day, and though it took until the seventh event to take the lead, the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Tribe<\/span>&#8216;s momentum was as irresistible as the tides with 11 wins in the 14 swimming events. That included a sweep of the two relays, starting with the 200 medley relay where\u00a0<strong>Colin Demers (Virginia Beach, Va.)<\/strong>\u00a0staked the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Tribe<\/span>\u00a0to a wire-to-wire win in 1:32.18 alongside teammates\u00a0<strong>Devin McNulty (Herndon, Va.)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jack Doherty (Middletown, Conn.)<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Kyle Neri (Wallingford, Conn.)<\/strong>. On the other end of the meet, Neri led-off the 400 free relay before handing off to\u00a0<strong>Colin Wright (Williamsburg, Va.)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Eric Grimes (Louisville, Ky.)<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Ian Thompson (Alexandria, Va.)<\/strong>who brought the win home in 3:03.87.<\/p>\n<p>In between the two relays, six men won nine events. Among the double-winners was Thompson, who took the 50 free by nearly a second in 20.69 and turned around immediately to win the 100 free in 45.69, finishing ahead of his teammate Neri in both events. Fellow sophomore\u00a0<strong>Ben Skopic (Marriottsville, Md.)<\/strong>\u00a0showed his impressive range with a win in the 200 IM in 1:41.37 and later the 200 IM in 1:53.08, and junior\u00a0<strong>Carter Kale (Williamsburg, Va.)<\/strong>\u00a0kept his perfect streak alive in the 500 free with a 4:36.75 win. Kale also won the 200 fly in 1:52.26.
