Ryan Lochte<\/strong> is a married man.<\/p>\n

The 12-time Olympic gold medalist wed former model Kayla Rae Reid<\/strong> in Florida this past Tuesday, multiple news outlets confirmed.<\/p>\n

Lochte, 33, and Reid, 26, were married at a Gainesville, Florida, courthouse, according to their marriage license, confirmed by multiple news sources.<\/p>\n

They began dating in early 2016.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe physically ran into each other. We grabbed each other\u2019s hands and were looking into each other\u2019s eyes. We clicked,\u201d Reid told the New York Post<\/em>. \u201cI had always heard he was a player and a partier. I always said I would never date an athlete. When I met him, he was the complete opposite of everything I thought he was.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lochte recently returned to training in Gainesville under\u00a0Gregg Troy<\/strong>, previously his coach from 2002 to 2013.<\/p>\n

Lochte competed this summer at the U.S. Open after returning from a 10-month suspension that resulted from his behavior at a Rio gas station at the conclusion of last summer\u2019s Olympics.
