Florida State\u2019s Chad Mylin<\/strong> has been named the ACC Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and Seminole Joshua Davidson<\/strong> has been selected as the ACC Men\u2019s Diver of the Week. On the women\u2019s side, Caitlin Cooper<\/strong> of Virginia has been tabbed the ACC Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and the Cavaliers\u2019 Kylie Towbin<\/strong> has been named Diver of the Week.<\/p>\n

Mylin recorded three top-five finishes in Florida State\u2019s meet against No. 6 Florida. The senior from Longwood, Florida, placed second in the 50 free with an NCAA provisional time of 19.75, and was part of the second-place 200 medley relay team. Mylin was also on the 400 free relay team for the Seminoles that placed fifth.<\/p>\n

Davidson won both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions for Florida State. The freshman from Tomball, Texas, finished at least 23 points ahead of the second-place finisher in both events, and scored a 318.23 on the 1-meter, and a 355.58 on the 3-meter.<\/p>\n

Cooper shined in Virginia\u2019s 177-123 victory over No. 7 Tennessee. The senior from Atlanta placed first in all four events in which she competed, clocking NCAA B cuts in the 50 free (22.35) and 100 free (49.40). Cooper was also part of the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay teams for the Cavaliers.<\/p>\n

Towbin had two top-10 finishes at the Tennessee Diving Invitational, placing ninth on the 1-meter and fourth on the platform for Virginia. The junior from New Canaan, Connecticut, placed 21st on the 3-meter, with her scores good enough for a first-place finish on the 1-meter and a fourth-place finish on the 3-meter when factored in for the dual meet against Tennessee.<\/p>\n
