LA MIRADA, California, December 10. MALLORY Weggemann, a two-time Swimming World<\/i> Female World Disabled Swimmer of the Year, downed the world record in the women's 800 LCM freestyle S7 event at the CanAm Open Championships.<\/p>\n

Weggemann clocked an 11:14.35 in the distance event, that smashed the previous record of 11:21.66 set by New Zealand's Rebecca Dubber in 2010. <\/p>\n
