USC&#39;s Katinka Hosszu has been on a roll at the Texas Invitational, winning her third individual title of the meet in Austin.  Along with her 200 and 400 IM triumphs, she tacked on the 200-yard fly to her weekend resume.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu nearly cleared her lifetime best of 1:51.02 from 2010 in the women&#39;s 200 fly with a 1:51.03 for the win tonight.  Elaine Breeden is ahead of her for the top of the mountain in the event with a 1:49.92 from 2009. Arizona&#39;s Alyssa Anderson placed second in 1:54.82, while UCLA&#39;s Yasi Jahanshahi finished third in 1:55.84. <\/p>\n<p>Arizona&#39;s Cory Chitwood smashed the field in the men&#39;s 200 back with a 1:38.85. That performance jumped him to fourth in the all time lists behind only Ryan Lochte (1:36.81), Tyler Clary (1:37.58) and Aaron Peirsol (1:38.45). USC&#39;s Alex Lendrum touched second in 1:40.82, while Arizona&#39;s Michael Sheppard placed third in 1:41.51.  All three eclipsed the NCAA A standard. <\/p>\n<p>Arizona&#39;s Margo Geer improved to ninth in the all time rankings with a 47.39 during prelims of the women&#39;s 100 free before winning the title this evening in 47.76. Texas&#39; Karlee Bispo placed second in 47.92, while Stanford&#39;s Maddy Schaefer earned third in 48.50. <\/p>\n<p>Arizona&#39;s Carl Mickelson (1:53.48) and Austen Thompson (1:53.50) showed off in the men&#39;s 200 breast with a 1-2 effort. Mickelson improved to 15th in the all time rankings, while Thompson took 17th. Kevin Cordes finished third in 1:54.06 after posting a 1:53.55 in prelims to move to 18th. <\/p>\n<p>USC&#39;s Kasey Carlson dominated the women&#39;s 200 breast with a 2:08.40 to grab 16th in the all time rankings, while Texas&#39; Laura Sogar took second in 2:10.16 after leading prelims in 2:09.99. Wisconsin&#39;s Ashley Wanland picked up third in 2:10.20. <\/p>\n<p>Stanford&#39;s Maya DiRado captured the women&#39;s 200 back title in 1:52.57 for an NCAA A cut.  That swim nearly cleared her lifetime best of 1:52.04 from 2010. Lauren Smart placed second in 1:53.47, while Arizona&#39;s Sarah Denninghoff finished third in 1:54.06. <\/p>\n<p>USC&#39;s Haley Anderson won the women&#39;s 1650-yard freestyle in 16:03.22, while Texas&#39; Kaitlin Pawlowicz took second in 16:07.57. Stanford&#39;s Andie Taylor placed third in 16:18.95. Texas&#39; Jackson Wilcox snagged the men&#39;s 1650 free in 14:52.55, while teammate Michael McBroom placed second in 15:03.73. Arizona&#39;s Matt Barber touched third in 15:17.32. <\/p>\n<p>USC&#39;s Vlad Morozov claimed the men&#39;s 100 free crown in 42.32, while Texas&#39; Jimmy Feigen earned second in 42.49. USC&#39;s Dimitri Colupaev wound up third in 43.35. Texas&#39; Neil Caskey topped the men&#39;s 200 fly in 1:44.29, while Wisconsin&#39;s Dan Lester (1:45.05) and Arizona&#39;s Matt Barber (1:45.45) took second and third. <\/p>\n<p>Arizona&#39;s Margo Geer, Sarah Denninghoff, Emma Darlington and Monica Drake won the women&#39;s 400 free relay with a 3:12.76, while Stanford&#39;s Betsy Webb, Andi Murez, Sam Woodward and Maddy Schaefer clocked a 3:13.76 for second.  Both times cleared the NCAA A cut.
