He finished in 3:59.47 to secure the gold medal by more than 3.5 second.<\/p>\n<p>Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Phillip Heintz\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 4:03.16, and Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Gergely Gyurta\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 4:06.33.
