Rivolta finished in 50.01, a quarter-second ahead of Poland&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Konrad Czerniak<\/strong>, who qualified second in 50.26.<\/p>\n<p>Russia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Aleksandr Kharlanov<\/strong> won the second semi-final in 50.28 to secure lane three for the final, and he was followed by countryman\u00a0<strong>Aleksandr Sadovnikov<\/strong> (50.43), the Netherlands&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Joeri Verlinden\u00a0<\/strong>(50.44) and Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marius Kusch<\/strong> (50.49).<\/p>\n<p>Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Piero Codia\u00a0<\/strong>(50.62) and Belarus&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Yauhen Tsurkin<\/strong> (50.63) took seventh and eighth, respectively.
