Races included the\u00a0500 freestyle, 200 IM, 50 freestyle, and 400 medley relay. Some of the headliners in attendance are\u00a0Stanford commit <strong>Lucie Nordmann\u00a0<\/strong>racing in the 50 free and the\u00a0<strong>Jack LeVant<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>Patrick Callan<\/strong>\u00a0match-up in the 500 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights of the evening include LeVant&#8217;s SC Junior National meet record in the 500 freestyle after a close race against Callan,\u00a0<strong>Vanessa Pearl<\/strong>&#8216;s Juniors West meet record in the 200 IM that eclipsed <strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong>&#8216;s 4-year-old mark, and Daniel Krueger&#8217;s 50 freestyle under the 19.5-second mark.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Collins Area Swim Team&#8217;s women&#8217;s A-relay of\u00a0<strong><strong>Bayley Stewart<\/strong><\/strong>,<strong> <strong>Zoe Bartel<\/strong><\/strong>,<strong> Coleen Gillilan<\/strong>, and<strong> <strong>Kylee Alons\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>lowered their own previous combined SC Junior Nationals meet record of 3:35.12 in the 400 medley relay to a 3:33.93 this evening, while the Academy Bullets won it for the men.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Events Line-Up:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>500 freestyle<\/li>\n<li>200 IM<\/li>\n<li>50 freestyle<\/li>\n<li>400 medley relay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Access heat sheets <a href=\"http:\/\/results.teamunify.com\/iauif\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 500 Freestyle<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kaitlynn Sims<\/strong> of Texas&#8217;s Magnolia Aquatic Club held on to the top spot in the women&#8217;s 500 freestyle, improving almost two seconds from prelims to touch in 4:42.38 for the win. Charging to the finish, LeVant split a 24.95 on his last 50 to set a new SC Juniors Nationals meet record, lowering <strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong>&#8216;s mark of 4:15.36 from 2016. The new record also eclipses LeVant&#8217;s previous best time of 4:18.20 by a large margin. Walker&#8217;s 47.91 backstroke\u00a0split was a big part of their win. For the King Aquatic Club men, <strong>Daniel Roy<\/strong> split a notable 53.91 on the breaststroke leg.
