SOME of the top teams in the NCAA faced off this weekend, with plenty of season-best times and NCAA B-cuts to boot. Here are several highlights from this weekend of racing.<\/p>\n<p>Conference rivals Auburn and Georgia battled it out in Auburn, Alabama on Friday night. The Auburn men won by a score of 156-87 and the Georgia women earned victory by a final tally of 133-110.<\/p>\n<p>Karl Krug, James Disney-May and Kyle Owens all posted impressive times for the Auburn men. Krug sprinted to victory in the 50 free in 20.08, Disney-May posted a 44.13 to win the 100 free and Owens stopped the clock in 1:48.29 to take the 200 IM. Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace also had a strong meet for the Tiger women, racing to times of 22.31 in the 50 free and 48.32 in the 100 free. <\/p>\n<p>Wendy Trott led the way for the Georgia women, taking home titles in the 1000 free (9:38.88) and 500 free (4:44.07). Megan Romano (200 free, 1:47.05), Melanie Margalis (200 IM, 1:59.04) and Kelsey Gaid (200 back, 1:56.94) also contributed key wins for the Lady Bulldogs. <\/p>\n<p>Martin Grodzki was the lone double-winner for the Georgia men, out-racing the field in both the 1000 free (9:07.69) and 500 free (4:26.84).<\/p>\n<p>Another heated battle took place in the desert on Friday as the Wildcats of Arizona took on the Southern California Trojans. The USC women and Arizona men emerged with wins.<\/p>\n<p>Katinka Hosszu was victorious in three events for USC, posting times of 1:46.15 in the 200 free, 1:57.76 in the 200 back and 4:12.97 in the 400 IM. Teammate Haley Anderson added two wins for the Trojan women, touching first in the 1000 free (9:52.57) and 500 free (4:46.70). <\/p>\n<p>Vladimir Morozov (100 free, 44.21) and Dimitri Colupaev (200 free, 1:36.83) picked up wins for the USC men.  <\/p>\n<p>Margo Geer posted winning times of 22.57 (50 free) and 48.84 (100 free) to lead the Wildcat women. <\/p>\n<p>Cory Chitwood earned two wins (200 back, 1:42.79; 400 IM, 3:50.96) for the Arizona men.
